Post 1st appointment

Well 1 week ago I had my first doctor's appointment. They drew lots of blood, took a urnine sample, gave me an exam and squeezed in a sonogram.
For the sonogram, they gave me this wand thingy that went in a not so pleasant place, but what I saw before me was worth it- my baby! He's still pretty tiny but he was there, heartbeat and all, which I got to hear!
Now it all seems more real.
Evan was working and didn't get to come, but Mom came with me and shared the experience, I think she's more excited than I am!
I was also happy to be told by my doctor that I can eat lunch meat ( woo hoo). I had read before my appointment that you could get listerosis from eating lunch meats, but she assured me if its refrigerated it should be fine. Yay, back on my ham and cheese sandwiches!
Next appointment- June 18th!
