And a couple more...

I couldn't resist this onesie... Walmart $3!

And thanks to Natalie, for the cute Ralph Lauren onesie, love love love it!

Well dressed baby

Here's a mini preview of some of the clothes Aunt Vicki gave me! Most of it was shirts and pants/shorts, which was exciting bc most of my gear is onesies right now! I esp. love the cowboy outfit, it'd go great with the Cowboy Trumpette Socks!

A kid in a candy store

Evan and I are in McAllen, Texas for the annual Casso family reunion. Casso is his mother's side of the family, we are about 25 and are hosted at Aunt Vicki and Uncle Dave's fabulous home.
Yesterday was the first day. It's always good to see and catch up with everyone and of course the bump got lots of attention :)
Evan's Aunt Vicki recently closed her kids clothing shop and has all her inventory set up in her craft room....including all of her left over baby inventory! I about fainted when I saw it all but then I really died and went to heaven when Vicki told me I could pick out and take WHATEVER I wanted. Seriously?! I couldn't possibly accept all of these wonderful baby clothes, but with some reassuring from Vicki that she really wanted me to have it, I happily went shopping, and walked a way with about 24 pieces of clothes in all shapes, colors, and prints for baby tummel- ranging in sizes from 0-6, 12-18 and 18-24. I'll post some pics of the fabulous outfits when I get home, but for now check out the zutano baby clothes website for a preview.
Thanks Aunt Vicki!!

Woo hoo!

An exciting baby purchase is on its way to my house....more to come!

The Tummy Sleeve

So far my tummy sleeve has been a true lifesaver. I started wearing it around 11 weeks. It allows you to wear your regular pants aka prepregnany pants longer. So far, now that I'm 18 weeks, I have not had to buy any maternity pants or shorts.. YET. This has been especially great to wear for work with my pant suits.

Unfortunately, I'm starting to get bigger and I'm wondering how much longer my tummy sleeve will last me before I have to break down and buy maternity jeans/maternity suit pants. Currently, I can not even zip my pants, so I have to make sure I fold it ALL the way down or my unzipped zipper peeks out and it looks like I'm walking around with my fly down!
How will I ever find maternity suit pants to match all my different suits?!

I told Evan tonight that I tried on some SEVEN maternity jeans ( my fav. brand) at a price tag of $130.
His response: "Fu**!, no."
Looks like I'll be checking out Gap,Old Navy, or maybe even Target for their maternity jeans? Any recommendations of where to find cute/affordable maternity pants my fellow blog readers?

One of my many weaknesses

I can not stop by one of my regular restaurants, Square 1 Burgers, without having one of these delicious cupcakes. They come in regular size and mini, which is what I go with- 2 bites of heaven!

I think I'll order a few dozen of these when I have my baby shower...
